The King's Cove Lighthouse affords one of the most spectacular views of the Bonavista Bay. You can hike to the lighthouse in about 20 minutes on the Discovery Trail, a 3-km walking trail, along the coastline and through the woods. It's worth the hike, and if you're lucky, you might even see some whales or an iceberg! The lighthouse was built in 1893 and was the first in the province to have a revolving light system.
