Skerwink Hostel has clear reduce, reuse, recycle policies that we are hoping to expand in the coming year. As we're situated out in the country there are many beautiful bike and walking trails near the hostel and we lend out bikes and bike maintenance equipment, we also offer bike storage.
Each year we plan to measure the hostel's eco-footprint and plan to work with the government of Newfoundland to reduce and offset our emissions. We hope to be able to offer our guests the option of offsetting their hostel and travel emissions and to make this a normal practice throughout Newfoundland.
Your hostare three Aussie sisters who have pulled together our resources of hostel knowledge, from our experiences and those of friends and fellow travellers, to create a hostel for backpackers run by backpackers.
We know that feeling of being in a hostel for two minutes and already feeling as though you’d been there your entire life. The Skerwink Hostel is a chill, familiar, and friendly place with lots of hang out areas and communal spaces.
