Magnum & Steins only uses the freshest of local ingredients. From halibut, cod and lobster caught off our coast to using the local Organic Farm for our produce. Our chef takes his inspiration from the local fare. Every evening, Chef Chafe, prepares daily specials which are based on what the local suppliers have supplied for the day.

Magnum & Steins was started 10 years ago by Bernie & Denise Fowler who both grew up in St. John's, Newfoundland. They started Magnum & Steins to offer local fresh fare at their establishment such as fresh cod, halibut & lobster which are all caught off the cost of Newfoundland and supplied by local fishermen. Chef Chris Chafe is also from St. Johns, Newfoundland. Every evening he prepares specials which are based on what the local suppliers bring to him every day.
