Holdin' Ground Festival Culminating in Klondyke Days

The "Holdin’ Ground Festival” is named for Ted Russell's play about the bond between Newfoundlanders and their homeland. The festival celebrates everything that contributes to the town of Bay Roberts as a “Holdin’ Ground.” "A Time in Pigeon Inlet," "The Hauntings - Ghost Stories and Fairy Stories," one of David French's plays, community breakfasts, dinners and suppers, sports competitions, garden parties, craft sales, musical performances, geocaching weekends, book launches, and many other events occur. A calendar is published online each year.
The event includes the Klondyke Days Parade and the Klondyke Days Fireworks Display, which take places on Bay Roberts Day. The fireworks come from the Klondyke Causeway and light up Bay Roberts Harbour.
Admission Fee (if any): Each event is seperate, and admission for each even is advertised seperately.
