Blue Hill is the highest point in Terra Nova National Park at 243 meters (797 feet). This area consists of two look-offs, the lower look-off provides a view of Mount Stamford, Newman Sound, and the boreal forest without leaving your vehicle. The upper look-off is accessible by a short trail from the parking lot and rewards you with a breathtaking panoramic view of the park. This location showcases the main park theme, a place where the Atlantic Ocean reaches deep into the boreal forest.
There is a road off the Trans-Canada Highway which provides access to Blue Hill. Parking is available at the top of the hill and there is a short path leading to the viewing platform.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash.
