Baynoddy Knitwear, Spinning & Weaving/ Fahey Farm
Baynoddy Knitwear, Spinning & Weaving is on the Fahey Farm established in 1789 and owned by Linda & Bernard Lewis. Linda is a fibre craftsperson and Bernard is the 6th generation on the family farm. On the farm, we have sheep, llamas, and angora goats to provide the fibre for Linda to work with. The Fahey Farm has been awarded "Century Farm" designation in 2006. Linda is a member of the Craft Council of Newfoundland & Labrador and has received numerous awards for her work including an "Award for Excellence in Craft for the Preservation of Traditional Craft Skills." Linda & Bernard work the farm together with some younger family members including cutting hay & shearing the animals. We sell knitwear, handspun, and woven goods made from our own animals.
